Since we have been married I have been wanting to go to the zoo. I don't know why but I really wanted to go. So Rene' and I finally went and I must say I really enjoyed it.
Rene' really liked the penguins. They kept huddling in a corner so one of the workers would coax them out so we could see.
We were able to catch most of the shows that they do there. Our favorites were the elephant and the bird shows.

We used to take you to the zoo, almost every year. You loved it then and I am glad to see you love it now. Wow! That looks like a bald eagle! It is huge!

My mom used to take us there each summer too. I love the zoo! When I took Gwen there last spring I was surprised to see how different it was from my childhood. It really is a neat place, and they have a ton of new things. Did you get to see the white alligator exhibit? What about take a ride on the train? Gwen liked the Zebras, and I must admit that I felt like a kid again. I do love those things that bring back fun childhood memories.
Just wait in a year you can take your baby, the little one that cries not the new saw machine, and it will be a whole new experience. Oh and I really liked the penguins too. They are just so cute.
